ITINERARY
Day 1: Bariloche:
Mourning arrival at Bariloche Airport and ready to start our Adventure Trip in Patagonia. We will start by visiting the most classic circuit of San Carlos de Bariloche in an active way. Our guide will explain how this little mountain village has evolved into one of the most attractive cities in Patagonia and the National Capital of Adventure Tourism. Whilst visiting the famous viewpoints of the area like Campanario Hill and Llao-Llao Peninsula we will enjoy amazing views of Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi and the mountains Capilla and Lopez. We will also do a nature oriented walk through an impressive native forest. Lunch will be taken at a secluded microbrewery where we will toast to our great adventure together!
Day 2: Bariloche / San Martín de los Andes:
Starting in the morning by taking the Road 40 around the Lake Nahuel Huapi to Villa La Angostura. Then we take the Road of the 7 Lakes that goes beside the lakes Correntoso, Espejo, Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Hermoso and Lacar. Half way we leave the vehicle for hike to Nivinco Waterfalls where we will have lunch. Back on the road we continue to San Martin de los Andes.
Day 3: San Martín de los Andes:
Today we visit the Lanin National Park.
Day 4: San Martín de los Andes / Aluminé:
Early departure to visit the northern base of Lanin Volcano and then continue to Aluminé.
Day 5: Aluminé / Villa Pehuenia:
After breakfast we take the road known as Pehuenia Circuit that goes through an impressive forest of pehuenes (monkey puzzle trees) and besides the lakes Pulmarí, Moquehue and Ñorquinco. Arriving at Villa Pehuenia for lunch. During the afternoon we will visit the surrounding area of the quite village.
Day 6: Villa Pehuenia:
After breakfast visit the Volcano Batea Mahuida to its crater lake.
Day 7: Villa Pehuenia / Caviahue:
After breakfast we continue north along a road of amazing geological formations. At Pino Achado Pass we will see volcanic tuffs formations called “Riscos Bayos” and the beautiful “Cajón de Huacupén” where we will see the stone made houses and corrals of the Mapuche Community over these sheep farming summer field. In the afternoon we will arrive at Caviahue.
Day 8: Caviahue:
After breakfast we will visit the Copahue Volcano and Geo-thermal Complex. On the way we will visit the Agrio River, famous for its fantastic waterfalls. We will have time to enjoy a swim in the hot springs and hiking through the various viewpoints. In the afternoon we will return to Caviahue.
Day 9: Caviahue / Neuquen:
In the morning we will do a nice walk around the town before continuing our trip to the City of Neuquen.
Day 10: Neuquen:
Transfer to the airport.
